The Five Self-Pots

The internal foundations for rebuilding identity, emotional grounding and direction.

Most people spend years building careers, routines, responsibilities and expectations for other people — while never truly understanding themselves underneath it all.

Street Therapy believes that long-term recovery, balance and resilience cannot exist without developing the relationship you have with yourself first.

Not the version you perform.

Not the version people expect.

The real one underneath the noise.

The Five Self-Pots are the internal foundations that help people rebuild identity, emotional grounding, purpose and direction in a sustainable way.

They are not about becoming perfect.

They are about becoming aligned.

Each "Self-Pot" contains five deeper parts of self within it. Together these smaller parts help create balance, stability and wholeness.

For example, within the Self-Knowledge Pot are:

  • Self-awareness
  • Self-acceptance
  • Self-identity
  • Self-worth
  • Self-honesty

Together these help a person understand who they really are underneath pressure, pain, performance and survival mode.

Every pillar within Street Therapy contains its own deeper structure and balance system. The full methodology, implementation model and guided framework form part of the wider Street Therapy philosophy and training pathways.

01

Self-Knowledge Pot

"Who am I really?"

This pot focuses on understanding yourself honestly and clearly. When you feel lost, disconnected or trapped in old patterns, this is often the first pot that needs refilling.

It includes:

  • Self-awareness
  • Self-acceptance
  • Self-identity
  • Self-worth
  • Self-honesty

02

Self-Love & Healing Pot

"Can I care for myself like I would someone I love?"

This pot focuses on compassion, recovery and emotional repair. When you are broken, grieving, burnt out or emotionally exhausted, this pot becomes essential.

It includes:

  • Self-compassion
  • Self-forgiveness
  • Self-healing
  • Self-kindness
  • Self-soothing

03

Self-Strength Pot

"Can I hold myself up?"

This pot focuses on resilience, confidence and inner stability. When life becomes difficult or fear begins taking over, this is the pot that helps keep you moving.

It includes:

  • Self-confidence
  • Self-esteem
  • Self-belief
  • Self-discipline
  • Self-motivation

04

Self-Boundaries Pot

"Can I protect my peace?"

This pot focuses on emotional protection, regulation and balance. When you become drained, overwhelmed or stretched too far by the world around you, this pot often runs low first.

It includes:

  • Self-respect
  • Self-protection
  • Self-validation
  • Self-regulation
  • Self-sufficiency

05

Self-Growth & Purpose Pot

"Am I becoming more of who I'm meant to be?"

This pot focuses on growth, direction and becoming. When life begins to feel stagnant, empty or directionless, this is often the pot asking for attention.

It includes:

  • Self-development
  • Self-reflection
  • Self-determination
  • Self-expression
  • Self-transcendence

The Truth About Self

If you do not know yourself, the world will define you for you.

If you are not at peace with yourself, you will spend your life searching for silence in places that cannot provide it.

If you do not advocate for yourself, protect yourself or invest in yourself, eventually you become disconnected from who you really are underneath survival mode.

That is where many people become lost.

Street Therapy is not about ego.

It is about rebuilding a stable relationship with the person you wake up as every morning.

Because once the noise fades, the one person you cannot escape is yourself.

Where This Fits
